Quick answer

Carry Amount is the upgrade line that lets you haul more documents per trip, and it holds a unique record: it is the only upgrade in Shred the Secrets with a footage-verified price. Level 1 costs $6,000, read directly off the upgrade purchase UI in a video guide; every other level — and every other line's prices — remains Unknown. The line matters most when hands are the bottleneck: squad guides rank it the #2 buy after Shred Amount, because with roles split (two on shredders, two gathering) hauling capacity sets the pace. Solo players report the base carry is often enough, which is why solo guides defer it. Like all five lines: 5 levels, cash purchase, reset every room.

The $6,000 anchor — and the cells we still can't fill

Level 1's $6,000 is the most load-bearing number on this site: it is the only upgrade price captured clearly on screen, so it anchors every planning conversation — reaching $6,000 quickly in Room 1 is the community's benchmark for unlocking real haul capacity. Levels 2–5 have never been displayed clearly enough to transcribe. The rule stays the same: two independent sources showing the same figure promote a cell to verified; send yours via the upgrade cost report template on our GitHub repository. We will not extrapolate a price curve from one data point — that is how fake wiki numbers get made.

Carry Amount and the +5 Carry game pass

The +5 Carry pass (99 R$, API-verified price) is the permanent cousin of this line: its name promises five extra carry slots, stacking with Carry Amount upgrades and class bonuses — but that effect is inferred from the name and unverified, and how those five slots compare to any particular number of upgrade levels is Unknown. Classes add carry too: Supervisor's squad-wide +2/+3/+4, CEO's +2/+3/+4 and Associate's personal +2/+3/+5 stack alongside this line (class effects are footage-verified; see classes). Permanent purchases feed every run; the line resets each room. Full pass list: game passes.

When to buy it (editorial)

Editorial, not official: our tier list rates Carry Amount S-tier, #2 for squads and speedruns — max it right after Shred Amount each room — but flags it as the line solo players can defer, since played well your hands rarely fill. A Buzzer Beater badge holder's own rebuy order puts it second in every room; with the $6,000 level 1 as the only known price, that purchase doubles as the community's earliest benchmark for whether your room economy is on pace. Solo? Try deferring it one room and watch whether you actually run out of hand space. Plan the order in the upgrade optimizer; observed earnings live on the paperclips page.
