Quick answer: 27 badges, and the rarest is not the one you think
Shred the Secrets currently has 27 badges. Sorted by the official Roblox earn rate, the rarest is Just Another Day at the Office (10 completed runs, under 0.1% of players), not Perfect Attendance — though Perfect Attendance (0.4%) is the hardest to force, because it needs a full 4-player squad finishing Ending 2 together and cannot be earned solo. Everything else is soloable.

Track everything at the BADGES kiosk
The lobby has a BADGES counter that lists all 27 badges. Each card shows a 1-5 star difficulty and the exact requirement, and earned badges can be equipped as a title above your avatar. Five badges unlock just by playing normally: Welcome! (join), First Day on the Job (shred your first stack), Company Card (buy any upgrade), Paper Pusher (shred 100 stacks, cumulative) and Access Granted (unlock your first door).

The badge board tracks all 27 — stars mark the difficulty.Watch at 0:15 - 2
Crank 100 times for IT Department
IT Department asks for 100 manual shredder cranks. Stand at any shredder and spam the crank — Vorzy estimates about a minute if you do it on purpose. Manual cranks only: once your Automatic Shredder upgrade takes over, those cycles stop counting toward your own cranking.

A minute of deliberate cranking finishes IT Department.Watch at 1:13

Stare at the FBI agent
It's Not What It Looks Like (0.7%) sounds scary but is free: when an FBI agent jumpscares into a room, the game tells you to look away — do the opposite and keep looking at him. Getting caught is the entire requirement, so you can earn this on any run through Room 2 or Room 3.

Do not look away — staring is what gets you caught.Watch at 8:48 - 4
Open 20 filing cabinets (and find the Room 3 key)
Nosy Coworker is 20 filing cabinets opened, and Room 3 is the cabinet room — work through the walls of drawers there. While you are at it, check every locker: one of them holds the key for Keymaster (17.4%), which opens the locked side area where the Sketchy Coworker hides.

Room 3 is the cabinet room — the key hides in a locker here too.Watch at 12:24 - 5
Return the Sketchy Coworker's phone
Behind the key-locked door, the Sketchy Coworker tells you he forgot his phone somewhere in the office. Grab the phone lying nearby and bring it back for Let's keep this between us (17.7%). Vorzy's badge video places the phone in Room 2 while bwoo's footage shows the Room 3 locked area — check both (community-reported).

Open the fake exit in Room 4
Tricked! (21.5%) hides in Room 4: a green-lit exit door tucked between the paper stacks. It looks like the way out, it is not — open it anyway and the badge pops. Dangerous Knowledge (9.2%) is the one secret badge with no confirmed trigger yet; its card only reads "You weren't supposed to see that," so watch for anything readable you were not meant to find.

The exit is fake — opening it is the whole point.Watch at 16:29
Ending-route badges
- 7
Sweep 20 cobwebs with the broom
Housekeeping (10.4%) is 20 cobwebs cleared. The cobweb room is Room 6, late in the run — equip the broom and sweep the floor webs as you go. You need this room anyway for the Ending 2 route, so the badge comes naturally.

Break every plank, ride the elevator
Two badges share the basement route: grab the glowing crowbar in the cobweb room, break every single plank off the boarded doorway for Intruder (5.3%), then after the basement coffee break, ride the elevator out with everyone inside for Joy Ride (8.4%). Both are covered step by step in our endings guide.

Every plank off the door — that is Intruder.Watch at 14:40 - 9
Shred with the Golden Shredder
Solid Gold (15.2%) needs one shred session on the Golden Shredder. In bwoo's run it is the Sketchy Coworker's reward for the phone: install it on any shredder for double cash, six stacks per load and no cranking. Vorzy's badge video instead says it comes from maxing the shredder upgrade line (community-reported) — try the phone quest first.

Install the Golden Shredder and shred once — Solid Gold.Watch at 15:52 - 10
Finish both endings (solo counts for Understaffed)
Completing Ending 1 awards What? (22.8%) and completing Ending 2 awards Dark Secrets (7.9%) — see the full route in our endings guide. If you finish an entire run alone, Understaffed (4.5%) pops on top. Millionaire (25%) also lands on the way: every room asks for $1,000,000, so normal progress earns it.

Bring a full squad for Perfect Attendance
The rarest ending badge: Perfect Attendance (0.4%) requires completing Ending 2 as a full 4-player squad, with everybody inside the elevator for the ride out. It cannot be earned solo — if your lobby is short one player, nobody gets it. Coordinate before the basement, not after.

Grind & speedrun badges
- 12
Max every upgrade in one run
Exceeded Expectations (1.4%) means purchasing every upgrade within a single run — upgrades reset between rooms, so this is a deliberate money sink. The same long sessions feed the other grind badges: The Shredfather (5,000 stacks, 5%), Secrets? What Secrets? (shred every last document in one run, 1.5%), Cooking the Books ($10,000,000 across all runs, 0.2%) and Just Another Day at the Office (10 completed runs, under 0.1% — the rarest badge in the game by earn rate).

Beat the 45-minute clock
Buzzer Beater (3%) wants a full run in under 45 minutes. Community-reported speedrun tactics: bring a 4-player team (rewards do not split), max Shred Amount first and Carry Amount second in every room, split into shredder and collector roles, and clear only a path instead of every stack. Coordinated teams report ~40-minute clears, so the margin is thin but real.

FAQ
How many badges are in Shred the Secrets?
27 enabled badges, per the official Roblox badge API. The in-game BADGES kiosk in the lobby tracks your collection and rates each one from 1 to 5 stars.
What is the rarest badge in Shred the Secrets?
By earn rate it is Just Another Day at the Office — complete 10 full runs — at under 0.1% of players. The hardest to actually organize is Perfect Attendance (0.4%), which requires a full 4-player squad finishing Ending 2 with everyone in the elevator.
Can I get every badge solo?
All but one. Perfect Attendance is impossible alone; Buzzer Beater (sub-45 minutes) is technically soloable but community-reported clears rely on a coordinated 4-player team.
Where are the collectible badges?
Most are in Rooms 2-3: the phone and the 20 filing cabinets in Room 3 (the key is in a Room 3 locker), the fake exit in Room 4, and the cobwebs, crowbar and boarded door in Room 6. You cannot earn them while still in Room 1.
Do badges give any reward?
They are trophies, but the badge menu has an Equip button — equipping one shows it as a title above your avatar in the lobby.
Are any badges missable?
No. The grind counters (5,000 stacks, $10,000,000, 10 runs) are cumulative across runs, and secret badges can be picked up on any later run, so nothing is lost permanently.
